The Diplomat Feltpen refill is a rebranded Schmidt Fasermine 5020 felt refill. It is a fiber tipped, reservoir based refill that will fit in any pen that takes a standard ceramic rollerball (RB) refill. The ink used in this refill is more stable and designed for longer cap-off time. This refill is available in black ink from Diplomat, but Schmidt offers the 5020 in black or blue ink. No third party refill makers offer a true substitute for this refill, although many make non-fiber refills that will fit the same pens.
