The Diplomat FineLiner is a rebranded Schmidt FineLiner 6040 refill. This refill is a fiber tipped, spring loaded, reservoir based refill that will fit in any pen that takes a standard ceramic rollerball (RB) refill. The ink used in this refill more stable and designed for longer cap-off time. This refill is available in black ink in a medium line width from Diplomat, but Schmidt offers it in other line widths and colors. No third party refill makers offer a true substitute for this refill, although many make refills that will fit the same pens.
