The Faber-Castell Fineliner is similar to (or may be a rebranded version of) the Schmidt 6040 FineLiner. It is a fiber tipped, spring loaded, reservoir based refill that will fit in any pen that takes a standard ceramic rollerball (RB) refill. The ink used in this refill more stable and designed for longer cap-off time. It is available from Faber-Castell in a medium line width in black or blue ink, but the Schmidt 6040 is also available in a fine line width. No third party refill makers offer direct substitutes for this refill though they may offer refills that fit the RB standard.
